Hyundai Motor unveils self-driving Ioniq EV at LA auto show

Hyundai Motor has unveiled the autonomous concept version of its Ioniq electric vehicles at the 2016 Los Angeles Auto Show, the automaker said on Nov. 17.
The Ioniq concept car is the first Hyundai vehicle to have met all the requirements of the US Society of Automotive Engineers for Level 4 automation that certify the car as a de facto self-driving vehicle, the company said in a press release.
